Doyne Finney, A friend of mine from home, Finished 2nd in the $550 on Friday, Played real good until he got heads up and just really got tired, These are LONG GRUILING TOURNAMENTS, Played from noon on Friday, Until 1:40 AM, returned on Saturday at 2PM Finals at about 10:30PM, 2 Long days But made a little over 19K.

Here is how this happened, In the cut off position, Seat 2, Seat 7 Glyn Banks pushes for 111K < I have 114K in chips, Made a good read on Glyn and called with JJ, Small blind then called OUCH, Had not planned on that one, But all is good Glyn had Ac-7s, SB had Ad-Kc So I was ahead, a 400K Pot, With 6 players left, and 2.3million in play, So winner has about 1/4 chips in play with 5 people left after this hand. Flop is rainbow with 1 club, Dodging a A,K, or running clubs, Turn is a club, and you got it, River is Jc, Giving me trips, But gave Glyn and the small blind a flush, Glyn got the main pot, and small blind, Got my extra 3K, So there you go, I am out. This was absolutely the best players I have played with as a hole, When we were at 29 Players at about 11PM on Thursday Night, We play until the final table or 1:40AM Which ever comes first, Well we finally made it to 25 players at 1:40AM, Paid 24 Spots, So we had to come back Friday at 2PM To finish, It was about 8PM When I went out at 6, and they hit heads up at about 7PM, Glyn finished 2nd to a guy I do not know from Little Rock,Ar. First tournament he had ever played in, Plays cash all the time, and a good player, Had a little problem with tournament rules, and had to set out one round with a penalty, For exposing his hand. Glyn is a very good player, and he and I kind of became friends through this tournament, Though he did knock me out, Well not much I can say, I would have loved to knock him out, But when he sucked out, He came over and not much to say, Just shook hands and said well kind of sorry, and I said, I see how you are now (Joking) Then I said, Well thats the game we love to hate, Everyone knows shit happens, That is just the luck in this game, The Badd Luck!!

Well still a few days to go, Headed back Thursday Night to play the $550 On Friday and the $1080 On Saturday, Then we have a mega satelite on Sunday, For the Main event on Monday $5150 Buy In on Monday, Hopefully I can make it on the satelite and win a entry, Also have some others playing a percentage for me, David and Denna Rylander from Memphis, and Rodney (aka: Coach) Showes from Biloxi,Ms. So maybe we can all do good.

The Delta Poker Classic at Gold Strike Starts Feb. 23rd I believe, That will be the next one.
Then April 1st. - 12th At Harrahs St. Louis
Then Caesars in Vegas begins on the 14th of April.
